Peppermint White Hot Chocolate

Jump to Recipe

This Peppermint White Hot Chocolate is SUPER easy, but so unexpected! The recipe took me all of five minutes to type up, because all you have to do enjoy this ‘classy’ drink is put all the ingredients in a pot on your stovetop and stir until heated up! It’s made by melting actual peppermint candies (the soft kind that are easily dissolve-able!), and that’s what gives it that fun pink color. If you’re not sure what soft peppermints are, they’re also referred to as ‘peppermint puffs’ at stores, and can be found in the candy aisle at most stores.

And this would be the perfect addition to those upcoming Holiday parties!

This would be the perfect addition to those upcoming Holiday parties, I hope you enjoy this as much as I did! If you like what you see, don't forget to follow along on Instagram and Pinterest on @theflouredcountertop.

Ingredients

  • 6 cups Milk
  • 1 cup White Chocolate Chips
  • 15-20 Soft Peppermint Puffs*
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream

Instructions

  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a large pot on low, stirring constantly, until the White Chocolate Chips have melted and the Peppermint Puffs have dissolved.
  2. Heat to your preferred temperature, then enjoy!

Notes:

*It is important that you don't substitute the soft peppermint puffs with hard peppermints or candy canes- the peppermint puffs will dissolve much quicker.
