Homemade Peanut Butter

Who’s ready for some life-changing peanut butter??

We all know Peanut Butter is made from blended up peanuts, but who’s actually tried it? Because it’s seriously hard to go back to store-bought after making this absolutely divine Homemade Peanut Butter! It’s SO easy, and 100% customizable. You can make it a little more salty, a little more sweet, and your level of preferred chunkiness.

This is kind of stuff that makes you roll your eyes into the back of your head when you eat it- which is one of my favorite things about making this from scratch - it’s always so much better tasting and you know exactly what’s going into it. No preservatives and mystery ingredients.

Homemade Peanut Butter

Yield: 16oz Jar

Prep time: 10 MinTotal time: 10 Min

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Peanuts (you can decide on which ones you like to use- I used roasted Sea Salt)
  • 3 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • salt, to taste (start out with 1/2 tsp)
  • honey, to taste (start out with 1 Tbsp)

Instructions

  1. Place the Peanuts and oil into your blender on medium speed. Blend for five seconds, then wipe it down. Repeat three or four more times.
  2. Change the speed to medium high, and let it blend for a couple more 2-30 second increments, wiping down and mixing between each one until your preferred smoothness.
  3. Add the salt and honey to taste. I recommend transferring to a jar as soon as you're done blending it- it will be slightly hot and therefore will come out easier. After transferring to a jar, refrigerate. Should be good for up to two weeks. Enjoy!
